  • Long on purpose. A newborn session is mostly feeding, settling and waiting, and an hour of it produces an hour's worth of a baby who will not sleep.
  • Three setups for the baby and up to three changes of outfit.
  • Photographs with you, with a partner, and with brothers and sisters.
  • The studio is kept warm, warmer than you will want it, which is the point.
  • Fifteen edited photographs, ready ten to fifteen days after you choose them.

Questions

When should this happen?
The first two weeks, ideally the first ten days, while a baby still curls the way a newborn curls. Book it before the birth and Diana will move the date to fit when they actually arrive.
What if the baby will not settle?
That is why it is three to four hours rather than one. There is time to stop, feed, and start again, and nobody is watching a clock.
Are the posed shots safe?
Nothing is done that a baby is not comfortable in, and a baby is never left unsupported. If a pose is not working, it does not happen.
How do I book?
Pick a date and a time on this page. The retainer is paid at checkout and holds the slot; the balance is due on the day.
What if I need to move my session?
You can move it once, to another available date, with at least 48 hours' notice, and the retainer moves with it.
When do I get my photographs?
You choose from a private online gallery, and your edited photographs are ready ten to fifteen days after you choose them.
Can I buy more than the images included?
Yes, from the gallery, at the price shown there. Nothing is deleted. The rest of your session is waiting if you want more of it.
